A lone bank robber was identified and arrested through CCTV footage after he held up a bank in Baliuag, Bulacan for P330,000 this week, a report from GMA's “24 Oras” said Thursday.

The daring robber was immediately identified as 41-year-old Gerardo Macapagal, who works as the head of the bank's security guards and whose wife also works in the same bank.

“Nabuko sa nunal, nabuko sa katawan. Even iyong pag lakad. Of course, may mga indication naman iyan na sino ang maglakad ng ganyan, na ganito katangkad, ganito ang build at may nunal,” Bulacan Police chief Sr. Supt. Ferdinand Divina said.

The suspect was arrested in his house at Barangay Talang in Candaba, Pampanga. Two revolvers were seized from him.

Some of the stolen money — P67,000 — was recovered from the suspect's shoes and underwear. Another P186,000 was found under his beddings.

Authorities believe the suspect already spent the remaining P85,000.

The suspect will be charged with robbery and illegal possession of firearms. His wife will be investigated to determine if she was involved in the heist.
